VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton men's lacrosse team heads to Hobart this weekend on Saturday, March 5, in Geneva, New York. The non-conference game will start at 2 p.m. and it will wrap up the team's season-opening three-game road trip.
At Marist last Saturday, the Bearcats put up a solid effort but in the end, fell 10-8.

Thomas McAndrew, and
Ben Kocis led the team with two goals each at Tenney Stadium.
Tanner Cosens was strong in net with 12 saves in net while
Austin Macchi won 12-14 faceoffs on the day.
Hobart lost 10-8 last weekend against nationally-ranked Cornell in a neutral site contest in Florida. Cooper Stefaniak led the Statesmen with a hat trick. Mark Darden, a junior, scored a pair of goals for Hobart, and Sean Donnelly, Gavin Llewellyn, and Kevin Murphy each scored one. Goalie Jackson Brown made ten saves.
The Bearcats rank fifth nationally in faceoff percentage, having won 67.5 percent of its tries. Kocis paces BU with three goals and three assists in the season's first two outings. Scaduto has tallied three scores and two assists. Cosens has posted 21 saves in two starts in goal for Binghamton.
Hobart has a 1-2 record to open 2016. Donnelly and Frank Brown lead the team with eight points apiece. Stefaniak has scored six goals.
Last season, the Bearcats fell to Hobart 11-10 when they competed at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Kocis put up a goal and an assist in the match.
