VESTAL, N.Y.- The Binghamton men's lacrosse team heads to Hartford on Saturday, April 2. The America East match is set for a 1 p.m. faceoff at Al-Marzook Field.

Binghamton is 1-0 in the conference and 2-5 overall. In its last outing, BU fell, 15-6, at #9 Towson on March 26.
Ben Kocis recorded two goals and
Tanner Cosens tallied nine saves.

Hartford sports a 5-4 record, including a 1-1 league mark. The Hawks won, 9-8 in triple overtime, at UMass Lowell before dropping a 13-9 decision to Albany last weekend. In Hartford's last game, it beat Holy Cross, 10-8. With the score even at 4, Justin Simmons scored three goals in 15 seconds to give the Hawks separation.

Scott Nelson's squad took down UMBC in the America East opener on March 19, winning 16-10. BU tied a single-game program record with 16 goals, as Kocis led with two goals and four assists.
Zach Scaduto notched four goals and a helper, while
Dan Mazurek won 19-26 faceoffs and claimed 14 groundballs.

In 2016, Scaduto paces Binghamton with 12 goals, matching his season total from last year. Kocis has recorded 11 goals and a team-high 7 assists. Mazurek has won 56.8 percent of his faceoff tries, collecting a team-leading 27 groundballs on the year. Cosens has started all seven contests in goal, registering 66 saves.

Dylan Jinks leads the Hawks with 17 goals and 17 assists, while Jaedon Henderson has 18 assists to go along with 9 goals. Dylan Protesto has won 71.8 percent of his attempts at the 'X', picking up 67 groundballs. Ryan Vanderford has started all nine matches in net, allowing 9.48 goals per game.
