VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton baseball plays its final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday when the Bearcats (23-20) carry an eight-game win streak into Loudonville for a 3 p.m. tilt with Siena (17-28).
Head coach
Tim Sinicki's squad has won 12 of its last 14 games and sits atop the America East with a 15-3 mark. The Bearcats have a 4.5 game cushion over second-place Hartford with six regular-season conference games left. Over the weekend, BU swept a three-game set from Stony Brook, who entered the series in second place. The Bearcats outscored the Seawolves 20-8 to remain perfect at home. Binghamton (12-0) is the only team in the country with an unblemished record at home.
Senior second baseman
Reed Gamache, the America East Player of the Week, had a huge offensive series, hitting .500 (5-for-10) with two home runs and eight RBI in the three games. Gamache also extended his hit streak to 15 games - the second-longest streak in BU's Division I tenure. Gamache leads the America East with 40 RBI and ranks in the conference top-3 in five offensive categories.
Sophomore center fielder
CJ Krowiak is third in runs scored (36) and sixth in hits (54) stolen bases (10). Junior first baseman
Brendan Skidmore ranks second in home runs (8) and fifth in RBI (33).
Freshman

The Bearcats rank second in the America East in hitting (.292), seventh in pitching (5.11 ERA) and first in fielding (.980). Binghamton's defense ranks eighth in the entire nation with just 29 errors in 43 games.Â
Siena has put an 0-11 start to the season behind them and the Saints have gone 17-17 since, 11-7 in the MAAC. Picked to finish third in the Coaches' Preseason Poll, Siena is currently positioned fourth, just two games out of first place.
The Saints have advanced to the MAAC championship series three consecutive seasons, having captured the title and its adjoining NCAA berth in 2014.Â
Sophomore Jordan Bishop leads the team and ranks eighth in the MAAC with a .337 average. Sophomore first baseman Joe Drpich is second in the league in home runs (7) and third in RBI (34). Freshman right-hander John Nolan (0-3, 8.18 ERA) is scheduled to start today.Â
Siena is hitting .262 (5th in MAAC), has a 6.37 ERA (9th) and a .951 fielding percentage (10th).
Binghamton leads the all-time series, which began in 1979, 11-8. The Bearcats won last year's meeting 6-5 in Vestal. The teams have split the last six games after BU rattled off five straight wins between 2009-11.
