VESTAL, N.Y. - Two-time reigning America East champion Binghamton baseball will offer a Prospect Camp on Aug. 29 at the Bearcat Baseball Complex. Registration is here.

The day-long event begins with instruction from 10 a.m. to noon with members of the Binghamton coaching staff - seven-time America East Staff of the Year recipients. After an hour for lunch, a pro style workout and controlled scrimmage will take place from 1-5 p.m.

The Bearcats are coming off a 2026 season that featured the coveted America East "double" of winning both the regular season and tournament titles. The Bearcats then returned to the NCAA Regionals for the second straight year and third time in the last five years. The team's school-record-tying 31 wins included 11 straight conference victories that pushed the Bearcats to the top of the standings. The team had 18 comeback wins and showed their grit in a 3-0 sweep in the America East tournament, held at the Bearcats Baseball Stadium. The team's final comeback of the year was an improbable 6-5 winners' bracket walkoff win over Maine. One day later, the Bearcats took home the title with another win over Maine. The team was sent to the NCAA Morgantown Regional, where its season closed with losses to ninth-ranked West Virginia and ACC power Wake Forest. In July, Binghamton added to its lengthy list of MLB draft picks with two pitching aces taken. The program has had four draft selections in the last three years.
