STORY LINES
- Binghamton (31-13, 12-3 AE) is in position to clinch its first-ever America East regular season title. The defending conference champions would clinch the crown with a sweep over the Hawks or with a split and at least one loss by second-place Albany and third-place Maine.
- The Bearcats have recorded the second-most victories in program history and their highest total since moving up to the NCAA Division I level in 2002. Only the 1995 squad, which finished 37-8, won more games.
- In its last game, Binghamton defeated Syracuse 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon. The Orange entered the game with a No. 74 RPI ranking. Sophomore outfielder

- Offensively, the Bearcats continue to be one of the top teams in the nation. Their .347 batting average ranks sixth, their 7.20 runs per game ranks ninth and .529 slugging percentage ranks No. 15.
- Hartford (6-41, 2-12 AE) dropped a pair of games to Army on Tuesday by scores of 7-0 and 3-5. Payton Fisher is batting a team-best .275 while Danielle DeMarco has clubbed a team-high four home runs this season.

Jessica Rutherford ranks No. 27 in the nation with a .434 batting average. She also has driven in a team-best 40 runs this season. Senior designated player
Griffin McIver, meanwhile has hit a team-high 13 home runs.
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Hartford 24-17, having swept each weekend series since 2010. Last year, the Bearcats swept an April 6 doubleheader on the road by scores of 10-2 and 8-0.
