VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton Athletic Department held several events in conjunction with Binghamton University's 2017 Homecoming Weekend, which was held Oct. 6-8.

On Friday night, the Athletic Department held its fifth annual Alumni Networking Panel. Coordinated by both the Varsity Club and the Student Athlete Success Center (SASC), the event featured four alumni athlete panelists who spoke to current senior student-athletes about making the transition to life after college.

This year's panelists included Michael Lane (Class of 1989) Kristen Stone (Class of 2013), David Tauber (Class of 1994) and Meghan Taylor (Class of 2006).

Three Binghamton athletic programs held their annual alumni games during the weekend – men's lacrosse, women's soccer and women's lacrosse.

On Saturday afternoon, the 10th Annual Homecoming Tailgate was held in the parking lot of the Events Center. This year, the results of the Alumni Giving Challenge were announced at the Tailgate – with the men's and women's lacrosse teams having the highest percentage of alumni participation. In addition, the men's soccer team was given a sendoff from the Events Center Lobby prior to its match against No. 16 UMBC.
