STORY LINES
 
- Off to its best start since the 2005-06 season, Binghamton (7-4) won 66-58 in overtime at Cornell on Monday night. Senior guard Imani Watkins poured in a career-high 36 points--the highest total by a Binghamton player since 1999. Junior forward Rebecca Carmody added a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds while senior center Alyssa James finished with 10 rebounds and six blocks.
 
- Watkins leads the America East and ranks No. 23 in the nation with 20.5 points per game. Sophomore guard Kai Moon is averaging 11.0 points per night. James, meanwhile, leads the conference and is second in the nation with 4.9 blocks per game. She is also third in the America East with 8.6 rebounds per night. As a team, Binghamton leads the nation with 8.5 blocks per game. The Bearcats are also tops in the America East in rebounding (42.6 rpg.).
 
- Rider (3-7) defeated NJIT 79-64 this past Saturday. Lea Favre led all scorers with 22 points. Kamila Hoskova, who leads the Broncs with 16.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, added 17 points while Stella Johnson finished with 16 points.
 
- The all-time series between Binghamton and Rider is tied at 2-2. Most recently, Binghamton won 72-67 back on Dec. 21, 2014 at the Events Center. The Bearcats are 1-1 all time at Rider, but dropped the most recent meeting, 66-63 in overtime on Dec. 14, 2013.
