WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - The Binghamton women's tennis team (1-6) Â recorded their second victory of the season over Niagara (1-6) on Friday. The Bearcats defeated the Purple Eagles 4-3. Binghamton won all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point before going on to win three-of-six singles matches.Â
At the top of the singles lineup, senior
Annie DiMuro dropped only four games (6-3, 6-1) in in her win at the No. 1 spot. Freshman
Samara Eisenberg notched her seventh win of the season and second win at No. 2.
Maya Haykal competed in her first dual match of the season picking up the win at No. 6. DiMuro and Eisenberg swept their competition at No. 1 doubles winning 6-0.
Binghamton faces Buffalo tomorrow at 1 p.m.
