Men's lacrosse heads to Colgate on Tuesday

Bearcats looking for first win of 2018 against the Raiders

VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton men's lacrosse team (0-1) will travel to Hamilton, New York to take on the Colgate Raiders on Tuesday afternoon. The matchup is set for a 4 p.m. start.

Scouting the Raiders
  • Colgate posted 18 goals in their season opening victory over Marist on Saturday
  • Eight different Raiders found the back of net led by freshman Mike Hawkins who scored four goals and added three assists
  • Anthony Abbadessa, Chase Wittich and Mat Donovan all recorded hat tricks in the contest
  • Goalie Connor Mullen had eight saves in the net for the Raiders

The last meeting
  • Binghamton and Colgate matched up for both team's season opener in 2017
  • The Bearcats came out on top with a 11-8 victory over the Raider
  • Tom Moore posted four goals while Liam Reaume added three while Petrelli, McAndrew and Matt Kaser each had one
  • Tanner Cosens had 15 saves on the day
  • Abbadessa, Will Blumenberg and Griffin Brown each recorded two goals for the Raiders

Binghamton will host Canisius College for the first home contest of the season on Tuesday February 20 at 4 p.m. The game is set to be broadcast on ESPN3.
