NEWARK, N.J. - Host NJIT (3-3) won the doubles point and five of the six singles matches to defeat Binghamton women's tennis (1-5) 6-1 Sunday afternoon at The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.

Samara Eisenberg provided BU's lone win when her opponent retired with Eisenberg closing in on the first set.
Two other matches went to a third set but the Bearcats lost each.
Binghamton next faces Drexel (Feb. 23) and Lehigh (Feb. 24) on the road before meeting Seton Hall on Feb. 25 at Cornell. Â
