Men's lacrosse hosts Canisius in home opener Tuesday

Bearcats and Golden Griffs to faceoff at 4 p.m.

VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton men's lacrosse team (0-2) will host Canisius (0-1) in the home opener on Tuesday afternoon. The contest is set for a 4 p.m. start at the Bearcats Sports Complex.

The Bearcats fell to Colgate, 21-7 last Tuesday
Sean Makar and Stephen Petrelli posted hat tricks for the Bearcats

Scouting the Golden Griffs

Canisius dropped their season opener to Dartmouth, 13-12 on Saturday
Ryan McKee netted five goals, Carter Stefaniak added three and two assists
Goalie Liam Ganzhorn recorded 11 saves

The Bearcats topped Canisius 11-7 in Buffalo last season
Tom Moore had three goals for Binghamton, Thomas McAndrew added two while Joe Grossi and Liam Reaume each had one
Ryan McKee had three goals for the Golden Griffs

This is the first of six home games that will be broadcast on ESPN3 this season
All men's and women's lacrosse home games were added to the Binghamton ESPN3 broadcast schedule this spring
