Men's lacrosse travels to Lafayette Saturday

Bearcats and Leopards faceoff at 1 p.m.

VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton men's lacrosse team (2-8, 0-2 AE) travels to Lafayette (2-8, 0-5 Patriot League) Saturday afternoon. The non-conference contest is set for a 1 p.m. start at Fisher Stadium.

Scouting the Bearcats
  • Binghamton enters the game with a 2-8 record, most recently topping Siena 13-11 at the Bearcats Sports Complex
  • Sophomore Jon Perotto netted three goals in the game while Thomas McAndrew, Joe Grossi, William Talbott-Shere and Sean Makar each added two
  • Brendan Patterson won 14-of-26 faceoffs and Kevin Carbone made 10 saves in the net
  • Talbott-Shere leads the team offensively with 18 points on 11 goals and seven assists
  • Kyle Tiernan has picked up 17 ground balls and caused ten turnovers this season

  • Lafayette has a 2-8 record this season including an 0-5 showing in the Patriot League
  • The Leopards were edged by Boston University 12-8 in their last contest
  • Conor Walters netted three goals and Jonathan Anastos made 14 saves
  • Walters leads the team offensive with 25 points on 19 goals and 16 assists, Will McCarthy has netted 11 goals and John Natoli has eight
  • Anastos has started every game in goal for Lafayette making 100 saves for a .441 save percentage

  • This will be the sixth meeting between the two teams
  • Binghamton holds a 3-2 advantage in the series
