Men's Soccer Travels to George Washington

Bearcats and Colonials kick off at 2 p.m. on Tuesday

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-4-2) played to a 1-1 tie against No. 18 Colgate on Friday night. Junior forward Haris Brkovic, who is tied for the team lead with two goals so far this season, deadlocked the match in the 75 minute. Senior midfielder Connor McKnight has also scored twice this year while sophomore midfielder Noah Luescher had a team-best two assists.

- George Washington (3-3-0) defeated NJIT 1-0 on Saturday in its most recent game. Brady O'Connor netted the game winner in the 80th minute. Thor Arne Hofs, meanwhile, is the current Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week and Oscar Hauns Brown leads the team with seven goals and 16 total points.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against George Washington 1-0-1. Most recently, the Bearcats won 4-0 at home on Aug. 25, 2017. Luescher posted a game-high three points (one goal and one assist). The two games played to a scoreless tie at George Washington on Aug. 29, 2016.

- Binghamton and George Washington have both faced Lehigh this season. The Bearcats took a 2-1 road decision on Sept. 7 while the Colonials lost 1-0 at home on Sept. 1. George Washington has also face America East opponent Stony Brook, winning 3-2 on Aug. 24.
