Men's Soccer Travels to Hartford

Bearcats and Hawks kick off Saturday at 4 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (5-7-3, 2-3-0 AE) played to a 2-2 tie at Hofstra on Tuesday night. Freshman forward Oliver Svalander and senior forward Haris Brkovic netted unassisted goals for the Bearcats.

- The Bearcats are 3-1-2 in their past six matches and are unbeaten (2-0-2) in their last four contests. They have averaged 1.50 goals per game during that stretch.

- Hartford (8-4-4, 2-2-1 AE) lost 5-0 at nationally-ranked New Hampshire last Saturday. The Hawks' conference wins this season have come against Albany (1-0 on Sept. 27) and Stony Brook (1-0 on Oct. 11).

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Hartford 9-7-4, having won the past two meetings. Most recently, the Bearcats took a 2-0 decision at home on Sept. 22, 2018.  In the last game played in Hartford, Binghamton won 1-0 in double overtime on Oct. 11, 2017.

- Junior midfielder Noah Luescher continues to lead the Bearcats with five goals, two assists and 12 total points. Svalander is second on the team with three goals and seven total points.

- Nick Benjamin and Kamer Nuhiu are tied for the Hartford team lead with three goals so far this season. Jovante Etienne has tallied a team-high three assists.

- In the current America East statistics, Luescher ranks fifth with 0.36 goals per game and is fourth with 0.86 points per game. He also ranks fourth with 2.29 shots per game.
