Women's Lacrosse Travels to Colgate Wednesday

Bearcats set to take on Raiders at 5 p.m.

HAMILTON, N.Y. -  The Binghamton women's lacrosse team travels to Colgate on Wednesday, Feb. 20 for a 6 p.m. contest, looking to extend their win streak over the Raiders to three games. The game can be seen live on the Patriot League Network.

Binghamton Notes
  • The Bearcats are coming off an 11-9 loss to Niagara
  • Rebecca Golderman recorded 2 goals and 2 assists in the loss
  • Kelly Quinn and Alissa Franze also scored two goals a piece
  • Goalie Taylor Passuello set a new career-high with 18 saves
  • Golderman also recorded six draw controls against Niagara

Colgate Notes
  • Head Coach Heather Young stepped down in the offseason after 12 years with the program (103-101 OVR)
  • Liz Beville (Cortland '14) will lead the Raiders on an interim basis for the 2019 season
  • Colgate, returning 20 players to a side which finished last season 10-7,  was ranked fifth in the 2019 Patriot League Preseason Coaches' Poll
  • Colgate started the season with a 12-9 loss to Vermont
  • Sophomore Danielle Van Calcar, who set the single-season program record for draw controls (72) in 2018, scored a hattrick in the loss
Series History
Colgate leads the all-time series with Binghamton, 7-4. The Bearcats have won the last two against the Raiders coming into this matchup.
