Women’s Lacrosse Travels to Ohio State Saturday

Contest scheduled to get underway at 12 p.m.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Binghamton Women's Lacrosse team (0-5) will take on the Buckeyes (5-1) this Saturday, Mar. 9 at 12 p.m. The game can be seen live on Big Ten Network Plus.

The Bearcats are coming off a home loss to Marist, 12-8
Rebecca Golderman recorded her first hat trick of the season
Taylor Passuello finished with 10 saves in net, hitting double digits for the fifth time in 2019
Paige Volkmann scored two goals for the Bearcats for the second consecutive game
Amelia Biancardi, Ciara Gordon and Olivia Batista also contributed goals for Binghamton

Ohio State improved to 5-1 in 2019 with a win over Niagara, 16-12
Sophomore Sophie Baez recorded 8 points in the victory (5 Goals, 3 Assists)
Junior Lisa Hernandez recorded 7 points (4 goals and 3 assists)
Goalie Jill Rizzo finished 2018 leading the NCAA in saves per game (12.47)
Head Coach Alexis Venechanos is in her ninth year in charge of the Buckeyes

Series History
Ohio State leads the series with Binghamton, 4-0. The last meeting between the two was a 14-13 victory in Vestal for the Buckeyes last year.
