Bearcats honor eight seniors in first victory of the season

VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton men's lacrosse team (1-11, 1-4 AE) defeated Hartford (4-10, 2-3 AE) at home on senior day Saturday evening at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Senior Joe Licata led the Bearcats offensively with five goals and three assists, while freshman Kevin Winkoff danced closely behind, tallying four of his own. In just his third full game this season, senior Kevin Carbone recorded the win, coming up with 19 saves in the net for a .631 save percentage on the game.

"Today was a great team effort," head coach Kevin McKeown said. "It was great to see our seniors lead that effort on the field as well as seeing some of the young guys step up. It was an all around team win today and we're looking forward to trying to get another next weekend."
