Women’s Lacrosse Travels to Canisius Wednesday

Bearcats and Golden Griffins set for a 4 p.m. start time

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Binghamton women's lacrosse team (2-13, 2-4 AE) will travel to Canisius College (2-14, 2-6 MAAC) on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. start time at Demske Sports Complex.

Binghamton Notes
  • The Bearcats are coming off a 20-4 loss to Stony Brook
  • Junior midfielder Amelia Biancardi lead the charge with two goals
  • Sophomore Kelly Quinn and Senior Olivia Batista each contributed one goal
  • Junior goalie Taylor Passuello leads the America East in ground balls per game and is ranked third in the nation (3.67)
  • Senior Rebecca Golderman and Biancardi have 21 goals a piece to lead the team
Canisius Notes
  • Canisius fell to conference foe Fairfield, 12-11 their last time out
  • Canisius produced even scoring with five players on the board
  • Rachel Heidenreich and Jen Reininger each recorded hat tricks
  • Jourdan Roemer lead the team in goals (40), assists (20) and points (60)   
History
  • Canisius leads the all-time series 2-13. The two teams first met in 2002.  
  • The teams last met on March 5, 2018, the Golden Griffins won 13-12.
