Women’s Lacrosse Hosts Vermont Saturday

Contest set for 12 p.m. start

.VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton Women's Lacrosse team (2-14, 2-4 AE) will host Vermont (7-7, 1-5 AE) at 12 p.m. this Saturday, April 27th at the Bearcat Sports Complex. The game can be watched live on ESPN3 or followed via live stats.

Binghamton Notes
  • The Bearcats are coming off a 10-9 loss to Canisius
  • After a 10-save outing, Junior Goalie Taylor Passuello ranks 16th in the nation in saves and leads the America East in both saves and ground balls per game
  • Senior attacker Emily Yoo scored her first hat trick of the season against the Griffins
  • Junior midfielder Amelia Biancardi leads the Bearcats in goals (23) after scoring twice last time out
  • Sophomore attacker Paige Volkmann (2) and senior midfielders Rebecca Golderman and Olivia Batista also scored for Binghamton
Vermont Notes
  • This is the third season in charge for head coach Sarah Dalton
  • The Catamounts lost 20-14 against New Hampshire last time out
  • Senior Jenna Janes led Vermont with six points in the loss
  • Senior Jenny Caoili and Freshman Maris Large each scored a hat trick
  • Senior goalie Maddy Kuras ranks fifth in the conference in goals against average
