Men's Soccer Travels to Syracuse

Bearcats and Orange square off Monday at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-0-0) rallied for a 2-1 overtime win over Drexel on Friday night at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Junior midfielder Noah Luescher scored both Bearcat goals, including the game winner in the first sudden-death period.

- Syracuse (0-1-0) was defeated 3-1 at No. 13 Georgetown on Friday. Ryan Raposa scored the Orange goal in the second half.

- Binghamton and Syracuse square off for the first time since the 2015 season. The Orange hold a 5-2-0 lead in the all-time series. The Bearcats last victory was a 2-1 road triumph on Sept. 27, 2011. They also won 3-2 at the Bearcats Sports Complex on Sept. 1, 2009.

- In the match against Drexel, Binghamton started six freshmen and one redshirt freshman. Mats Roorda is the first true freshman to start in goal for Binghamton since Stefano Frantellizzi in 2012.
Syracuse is the first ACC team Binghamton has faced since meeting Virginia Tech 2-1 on Sept. 3, 2017.
