Men's Soccer Returns Home to Face Lehigh

Bearcats and Mountain Hawks square off Tuesday at 7 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-4-0) dropped a 3-0 decision at Iona on Saturday, with all three goals coming during an 11-minute stretch early in the second half. Junior midfielder Noah Luescher leads the Bearcats with three goals and six total points so far this season.

- Lehigh (3-1-0) won 1-0 over visiting Seton Hall on Saturday. Josh Luchini, who leads the Mountain Hawks with three goals and six total points, scored the game winner in the 50th minute.

- The series between Binghamton and Lehigh is even at 1-1-1. Most recently, the Bearcats won 2-1 on the road on Sept. 7, 2018. Current sophomore Andrew McDonnell scored the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute. Luescher recorded the assist.

- This year's match marks the first time the Binghamton and Lehigh square off at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The two squads played to a scoreless draw at the old West Gym Field back on Sept. 13, 2006. The Mountain Hawks won 1-0 at home back on Sept. 13, 2005.

- Two of the six Bearcat goals this season have been scored by freshmen. Parker McKnight scored his first collegiate goal against Syracuse on Sept. 2 while Dan Mansfield did the same against Rutgers on Sept. 10. McKnight and Mansfield were teammates at nearby Vestal High School.

- Luescher's three goals has already tied his season-high total. He netted three goals in both 2017 and 2018.
