- Binghamton (2-4-0) rallied for a 2-1 overtime win against Lehigh on Tuesday. Junior midfielder
Noah Luescher, who leads the Bearcats with four goals and nine total points so far this season, finished with a goal and an assist against the Mountain Hawks. Sophomore forward
Andrew McDonnell scored the game-winning goal 44 seconds into the first sudden-death period.
- Monmouth (0-5-0) lost 2-1 to Princeton on Wednesday. Sebastian Rodriguez leads the Hawks with two goals and four total points so far this season.
- Monmouth leads the all-time series against Binghamton 1-0-1. Last year, the two squads played to a scoreless draw at Monmouth. The Hawks last beat the Bearcats 2-0 back on Sept. 5, 2010.
- This year marks the 13th Homecoming Game the men's soccer team has played at the Bearcats Sports Complex. In the previous 12 contests, the average attendance has been 1,969 fans with a pair of sellouts (2,500).
- Binghamton has a record of 5-5-2 all time in Homecoming matches. Last season, the Bearcats were defeated 2-1 by Stony Brook. The Bearcats' last Homecoming victory was a 3-0 triumph over Buffalo on Sept. 24, 2016.
- Luescher is tied for first in the America East with 1.50 points per game. He is also third in the conference with .667 goal per game. The four goals he has scored this season already represents Luescher's career high. He finished with three goals in both 2017 and 2018.
- Binghamton has already won a pair of overtime games so far this season. The last time the Bearcats won at least two overtime matches was in 2010. Binghamton has never won three overtime matches in a season during its 19-year Division I era.
- Two of the eight Bearcat goals this season have been scored by freshmen.
Parker McKnight scored his first collegiate goal against Syracuse on Sept. 2 while
Dan Mansfield did the same against Rutgers on Sept. 10. McKnight and Mansfield were teammates at nearby Vestal High School.
- The Binghamton Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be holding its SPREAD RESPECT night in conjunction with the men's soccer game against Monmouth. SPREAD RESPECT is a program the nine America East Conference school take part in each year.
