- Canisius (0-1-0) lost its season opener against Bucknell 4-1 on Sunday. Troy Brady scored the Golden Griffs' goal on a penalty kick in the 71st minute.
- Binghamton has won all three previous meetings against Canisius. Most recently, the Bearcats took a 5-1 road decision on Sept. 23, 2017. Current senior forward
Haris Brkovic scored twice in the victory. In the last match at the Bearcats Sports Complex, Binghamton won 2-1 on August 26, 2016.
- Binghamton has started six freshmen and one redshirt freshman (McKnight) in each of the first two games.
Mats Roorda is the Bearcats' first freshman goalkeeper since 2012. He stopped nine shots against Syracuse on Monday night.
