Men's Lacrosse Travels to No. 5 Syracuse

Bearcats and Orange set for a 2 p.m. start

VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton Men's Lacrosse heads to No. 5 Syracuse on Saturday, Feb. 15 for a 2 p.m. match up against the Orange.

Notes
  • Binghamton fell in their season opener to Marist 12-4. 
  • Sophomore Goalie Teddy Dolan had 17 saves in net for the opener.
  • Freshman Thomas Greenblatt and junior Justin Roderka netted their first goals in a Bearcat uniform in the game. 
Scouting 'Cuse
  • Syracuse finished 4th in the ACC last year with a 9-5 record. 
  • In conference play they finished 2-2. 
  • John Desko returns for his 20th season as the Roy D. Simmons Jr. Head Men's Lacrosse coach at Syracuse. Desko is one of the most respected coaches in the nation, winning five national championships at Syracuse. 
  • Lelan Rogers and Pat March are the Assistant Coaches for the 2020 season. 
  • Syracuse is led by Chase Scanlan coming off a 7 goal game in their first game of the year.
  • Syracuse beat Colgate 21-14.

  • Syracuse leads the all-time series 7-0 
  • The last time the two teams met was in 2018 with Syracuse winning 21-4.
