Men's Lacrosse Hosts Bucknell Tuesday

Bearcats and Bison face-off at 4 p.m.

VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton men's lacrosse team (1-2) hosts the Bucknell Bison (3-1) Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The game is set for a 4 p.m. face-off.

Notes
  • The Bearcats picked up their first win in Saturday's triple overtime game against Lafayette.
  • The Bearcats were led by Sophomore Attacker/Midfielder Kevin Winkoff with a seven-point game (3G,4A).
  • Junior Attacker Justin Roderka added three goals and leads the team with six goals  early in the season. 
  • Thomas Greenblatt added two goals in their last game. 
  • Redshirt Freshman Goalie Teddy Dolan had 9 saves including three saves in the overtimes. 
  • Freshman Ryan McBeth scored the game-winning goal in the third overtime. He also had two assists on the day. 
Scouting Bucknell
  • The Bison are 3-1 in the early season, coming off a 15-11 loss to No. 17 Ohio State.
  • Bucknell's three wins came against Furman, Bryant, and Sacred Heart.
  • Attacker's Tommy Sopko and Will Yorke are tied for the team leaders in goals with 12 in four games. 
  • Sophomore Attacker Alston Tarry leads the team with eight assists. 
  • Junior Goalie Ben Clark is averaging 12.75 saves per game. 
  • Head Coach Frank Fedorjaka is in his 15th season with the Bison. 
  • The Bison were 6-9 last season with a 4-4 conference record. The Bison played five ranked opponents.
