Men's Lacrosse Travels to #16 Army West Point

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton men's lacrosse team (1-3) will travel to West Point to face #16 Army (4-2) on Tuesday, March 3 for a 3 p.m. bout. You can keep updated with live Tweets @BinghamtonMLAX.

  • The Bearcats are coming off a 16-4 loss to Bucknell this past Tuesday.                            
  • In that game, Redshirt Freshman Teddy Dolan made 18 saves in just three periods, tying his career-high.                                                                                              
  • Goal scorers were Thomas Greenblatt, Kevin Winkoff, Tom Galgano, and Justin Roderka                                                                                                                                 
  • Junior Justin Roderka leads Binghamton in scoring with 7 goals this season. 
 
Scouting Army
  • Army is ranked #16 nationally, with big wins over #18 UMass and #19 Rutgers.                                                 
  • They are recently coming off a 12-5 victory in their first Patriot League game against Holy Cross.
  • Recently they lost a close game (9-7) with #1 Syracuse.
  • The high-point scorer for Army is Brendan Nichtern with 9 goals and 17 assists so far this season.
  • Goalie Wyatt Schupler is saving 64% of shots on goal.
  • They are 3-0 at home this season.
Series History
  • This will be the second time these teams have faced off. Army won the first matchup 15-6 in 2019.
