- Binghamton (7-6-1, 2-3-0 AE) lost 2-1 to No. 24 Cornell on Tuesday night. Junior forward
Oliver Svalander, who is tied for the team lead with five goals, scored in the 16th minute against the Big Red. Junior back

Ethan Homler ranks first on the team with 11 total points (five goals, one assist). Svalander is second with 10 total points followed by graduate student midfielder
Noah Luescher, who has nine total points (three goals, three assists).
- Svalander and Homler are tied for sixth in the America East with 0.39 goals per game. Homler also ranks second in the conference with 0.39 game-winning goals per contest.
- NJIT (3-10-1, 1-4-0 AE) dropped a 2-1 road decision at Drexel on Tuesday. Jose Adams netted the Highlander goal midway through the second half.
- Rene White leads NJIT and ranks first in the America East with 1.82 total points per game (eight goals and four assists). He also ranks third with 0.73 goals per game.
- NJIT won the only previous meeting between the two programs – 4-2 at home on March 23, 2021. Luescher and
Sean Molloy recorded the Bearcat goals in that game.
- Binghamton will honor its five graduating seniors prior to its match against NJIT. In addition to Luescher,
Andrew McDonnell,
Kosta Nika,
Tim Leuenberger and
Ryan Pyszka will be recognized.
- With a victory over the Highlanders, the Bearcats will record their highest win total since 2015, when they finished 10-8-2. The Bearcats' current win total (seven) equals their best total since going 7-6-6 in 2016.
- Luescher enters the match against Cornell with 19 career goals, which is tied for second during Binghamton's 21-year NCAA Division I era. He is deadlocked with Charles Darkwah (2002-04) and Cameron Keith (2008-09). In first place, with 28 career goals, is Jake Keegan (2009-12).
- Luescher is also second during the Bearcats' NCAA Division I era with 15 assists and 53 total points. Adam Whitehead (2009-12) is first with 17 assists while Keegan is tops with 69 career points.
