- Binghamton (7-2-0) won 1-0 at UMass Lowell on Saturday night to record its third straight shutout victory. Junior forward
Ethan Homler scored the game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the 67th minute. Redshirt junior goalkeeper
P.J. Parker, meanwhile, made a clutch save in the 77th minute to record his third straight solo shutout.
- The Bearcats are currently ranked third in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Northeast Region Poll. At 7-2-0 they are also off to their best start since the 2007 season.

- In the America East statistics, Homler ranks sixth with .625 goals per game and fourth with 1.38 total points per game. In addition, he ranks first with 0.50 game-winning goals per game.
- Bucknell (3-6-1) lost 2-1 in overtime to American on Saturday afternoon. Gabe Dahlin netted his first goal of the season for the Bison.
- Jordan Miller leads Bucknell with six goals and 12 total points so far this season. He also leads the Patriot League with 0.60 goals per game and is fourth with 1.20 points per game.
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against Bucknell 7-5-3. Most recently, however, the two teams played to a 1-1 tie at Bucknell on Oct. 22, 2019. In the most recent game at the Bearcats Sports Complex, Binghamton won 1-0 on Sept. 27, 2016.
- The Bearcats are approaching levels of success not seen since the 2007 season. That year represents the last time Binghamton started off 8-2-0, shut out four opponents in a row (they beat their first five opponents by identical 1-0 scores) and won four straight games (Sept. 22-Oct. 10, 2007).
