- New Hampshire (11-0-0, 3-0-0 AE) is ranked nationally in both major polls. The Wildcats are fifth in the College Soccer News Top 30 Poll and seventh in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Top 25 Poll. New Hampshire is also ranked first in the Northeast Region Poll.
- In its most recent match, New Hampshire defeated NJIT 3-0 on Friday night to remain in first place in the America East. Jacob Gould, the current America East Offensive Player of the Week, netted one of the goals.
- Tola Showunmi of New Hampshire is third in the conference with 0.64 goals per game and is fourth with 1.36 points per game. Sam Henneberg, meanwhile, leads the America East with 0.55 assists per game.
- Binghamton leads the all-time series against New Hampshire 10-9-2. Most recently, however, the Wildcats took a 2-0 decision on Sept. 27, 2019 in Durham. In the last meeting at the Bearcats Sports Complex, Luescher had a goal and an assist, powering his team to a 2-1 win over a New Hampshire squad that was ranked No. 23 in the nation.

- Binghamton and New Hampshire are the lone two unbeaten teams left in America East play but they were at opposite ends of the spectrum in the conference preseason poll. The Wildcats, who have won the past four America East titles, were picked first out of nine teams while the Bearcats were picked last.
- The highest ranked opponent that Binghamton has defeated during its 21-year NCAA Division I era was then No. 15 Fairleigh Dickinson in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Nov. 22, 2003. The Bearcats won that match 1-0.
- The highest nationally-ranked team that Binghamton has tied was then seventh-ranked UMBC, 0-0 on Oct. 26, 2013 at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The match is also the last time the Bearcats have squared off against a Top 10 team.
- The Homecoming men's soccer game returns to Binghamton after a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 13 previous matches on Homecoming Weekend, an average of 1,919 fans have filled the Bearcats Sports Complex.
- The Bearcats are 5-5-3 all time on Homecoming Weekend. Most recently, they played to a scoreless draw against Monmouth on Sept 21 2019. Binghamton's last win on Homecoming Weekend was a 3-0 triumph over Buffalo on Sept. 24, 2016. This marks the first time the Bearcats meet New Hampshire on Homecoming Weekend.
