STORY LINES

- Binghamton begins its six-game spring schedule with three matches at home and three on the road – all against America East opponents.

- The Bearcats (0-0-0, 0-0-0 AE) return 10 starters and their top three goalkeepers from the 2019 squad that qualified for the America East Tournament after a two-year absence.

- Current senior midfield Noah Luescher was named second-team all-conference while Oliver Svalander and P.J. Parker were chosen to the All-Academic Team.

- Albany began its season last Friday with a 1-1 draw against visiting Syracuse. Adam Aoumaich scored the game-tying goal in the 85th minute against the Orange.

- Aoumaich is the current America East Offensive Player of the Week while Riccardo Iafrate is the conference's reigning Defensive Player of the Week. Austin DaSilva, meanwhile, led the conference with 12 goals and 25 total points in 2019.

- The Great Danes went 9-7-1 during the 2019 campaign and like Binghamton, advanced to the America East quarterfinals.

- Since both teams joined the America East Conference in 2002, Binghamton leads the all-time series against Albany 10-8-3. Most recently, the Bearcats took a 1-0 decision at home on Nov. 6, 2019. Current junior midfielder Andrew McDonnell score the game-winning goal in the 88th minute.

- Dating back to 2014, Binghamton has won four out of its last six season openers. In such games at the Bearcats Sports Complex, the Bearcats are a perfect 3-0-0. In 2019, Binghamton defeated Canisius 2-1 in overtime on Aug. 30. Luescher scored both goals in the victory.
