Men's Soccer Hosts UMBC

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (1-1-0, 1-1-0 AE) lost 3-2 in double overtime at Hartford on Sunday. Sophomore forward Ethan Homler finished with a goal and an assist while Noah Luescher netted his team-best third goal of the season.

- Luescher is tied for first conference with three goals and is first with six total points. He also ranks first with 1.50 goals and 3.00 points per game. Homler, meanwhile, is tied for fourth in the America East with 1.50 points per game.

- UMBC (2-1-1, 1-1-1 AE) beat Albany 1-0 in overtime last Friday. Ryan Becher scored the game winner just 57 seconds into the extra session.

- Quantrell Jones ranks third in the America East with n 0.45 goals against average. He also leads the America East with three shutouts.

- Binghamton leads the all-time series against UMBC 9-7-4. The Bearcats won last year's meeting 1-0 on Oct. 26 at home. Current sophomore forward Dan Mansfield netted the game winner in the 67th minute.

- The America East has divided its nine teams into three pods for this season. Binghamton is currently 1-1-0 in its pod- which also includes Albany and Hartford. UMBC is 0-1-1 in its pod, which also features Stony Brook and NJIT. The final pod includes New Hampshire, UMass Lowell and Vermont.

- The first-place team in each pod – as well as a wild card team – will advance to the four-team conference tournament.
