Men’s Lacrosse Hosts UAlbany on Saturday for Home Opener

Bearcats and Great Danes set for 12 p.m. face-off

VESTAL, N.Y. -- The Binghamton men's lacrosse team (1-0 AE) will host UAlbany (2-1, 1-1 AE) on Saturday, Mar. 20 at 12 p.m. for its home opener.

Notes
  • The Bearcats are coming off a 14 day break following the 11-5 win against NJIT.
  • Senior attack Justin Roderka netted five goals and one assist in the season opener.
  • At faceoff, sophomore Matthew DeSouza is 12-17. 
Scouting UAlbany
  • The Great Danes have begun their season 2-1.
  • UAlbany opened their season with a win against non-conference opponent Colgate 15-9.
  • In the Great Danes second game of the season, they were victorious 16-6 against America East opponent Harford.
  • Most recently, Albany fell to Vermont 14-12. 
  • The Great Danes ranked #14 in the nation prior to the loss against Vermont.

  • The Great Danes lead this head-to-head matchup 18-3.
  • Albany is on an eight game winning streak against the Bearcats.
