- Binghamton (2-3, 2-3 AE) dropped a 2-1 decision at Albany last Friday. Freshman midfielder
Cooper Sayles netted his second goal in three games while
Noah Luescher tallied the assist – giving him at least one point in each of the Bearcats' five games so far this season.
- Luescher is first in the America East and tied for fourth in the nation with 1.00 goals per game. In addition, his 2.20 points per game also leads the conference and is seventh overall in the nation. For the season, Luescher has a conference-best five goals and is tied for the lead with 11 total points.
- Hartford (2-1, 2-1 AE) was defeated 4-0 by No. 14 New Hampshire last Friday. Nadav Datner leads the Hawks with two goals so far this season.
- The Hawks won the first meeting of the season 3-2 in overtime on March 14. Datner netted both the game-tying and game-winning goal in the victory. Luescher and sophomore forward
Ethan Homler netted the goals for the Bearcats.
- Binghamton and Hartford are in one of the three conference pods along with Albany. The match on Friday is the final conference contest of the season for the Bearcats while the Hawks still have games against UMass Lowell (April 5) and Albany (April 9). The first-place team in each of the three pods – along with a wild card team – will advance to the America East Tournament.
