Men's Lacrosse Opens Season Saturday at NJIT

Game time is set for 1 p.m.

VESTAL, N.Y. -- The Binghamton men's lacrosse team will travel to Newark, N.J. to open up it's season against New Jersey Institute of Technology (0-2) on Saturday, March 6 at 1 p.m.

Notes:
  • This is head coach Kevin McKeown's fifth season at the helm for the Bearcats.
  • Binghamton established new core values; discipline, selflessness, and toughness. Enforcing values both on and off the field.
  • The Bearcats welcome nine freshmen to the mix.
  • Leadership Council Members include senior defenseman Tom Galgano, redshirt sophomore goalie Teddy Dolan, junior long stick midfielder Drew Furlong, seniors Hunter Greco, Robert Martin and sophomore Thomas Greenblatt.
Scouting NJIT:
  • First year as an America East Conference member.
  • Lost first two games against non-conference opponents; Delaware and Lehigh.
Series History:
  • This will be the first time the Bearcats and the Highlanders face off.
  • This is the first conference game NJIT will play as a member of the America East.
