- Binghamton (4-1-0) won 3-1 on Saturday night at Canisius. Junior forward

- Homler leads the Bearcats with three goals and seven total points so far this season. This includes goals in each of the past two games. In the America East statistics, Homler is tied for fourth with 0.60 goals per game and is tied for fifth with 1.40 total points per game. Anderson and junior forward
Oliver Svalander, meanwhile, each have a pair of goals.
- Syracuse (3-2-0) won 3-1 at Virginia on Friday night. Deandre Kerr scored twice in the victory while Colin Biros tallied a pair of assists.
- Kerr leads the Orange with three goals and seven total points so far this season. Biros has a goal and two assists while Noah Singlemann has dished out a team-high three assists.
- Syracuse leads the all-time series against Binghamton 6-2-0, having won the past four meetings. Most recently, the Orange took a 3-1 decision at home on Sept. 2, 2019. Current redshirt junior midfielder
Parker McKnight had the lone Bearcat goal in that match. Binghamton's last win in the series was a 2-1 triumph at Syracuse on Sept. 27, 2011.
- At 4-1-0, the Bearcats are off to their best start since the 2007 season. That squad started the year a perfect 5-0-0, winning each of those games by a 1-0 margin.
- Luescher current has 17 goals during his Binghamton career and 46 total points. He is tied for fourth all-time in goals during Binghamton's 21-year NCAA Division I era and tied for second in total points.
- Other than a penalty kick goal against Canisius on Saturday, the Bearcat defense has gone 225 minutes without allowing a goal heading into the match at Syracuse.
- Binghamton is in the midst of playing five straight road games, -- its longest such span since 2016. The Bearcats have gone 2-1-0 so far during the current stretch and wrap it up on Saturday at Monmouth.
- The Bearcats' lone defeat this year was a 2-1 setback at Niagara on Sept. 3. Syracuse, meanwhile, defeated the Purple Eagles 2-0 three days later.
- While Homler has scored in back-to-back games, the last Binghamton player to score in at least three straight games was Luescher. He netted goals in four straight games from Feb. 26-March 24, 2021.
