- Homler leads the Bearcats so far this season with four goals and nine total points. Luescher is second with two goals and five total points. Also scoring twice this season have been junior forward
Oliver Svalander and redshirt sophomore forward
Rory Anderson.
- Stony Brook (5-2-0, 1-0-0 AE) is ranked third in the USC Northeast Region Poll and is currently receiving votes in the College Soccer News Top 30 National Poll.
- The Seawolves opened their conference slate with a 2-0 win over Vermont. Jonas Bickus, the current America East Rookie of the Week, scored against the Catamounts while Edmond Kaiser, the current America East Defensive Player of the Week, made five saves to record the shutout. Bikus also leads the Seawolves with three goals so far this season.
- In the America East statistics, Homler ranks fifth with .571 goals per game, second with .429 goals per game and is tied for sixth with 1.29 points per game. Kaiser ranks third with a 0.96 goals against average as well as 0.74 save percentage.
- During both schools America East era, Binghamton leads the series against Stony Brook 10-7-5. Most recently, the Bearcats rallied for a 3-2 win at Stony Brook on Oct. 19, 2019. Svalander scored twice and Luescher tallied the game winner on a free kick. Luescher also scored in the previous match between the two teams – a 2-1 Seawolf victory on Oct. 16, 2018 on Homecoming Weekend.
- Binghamton is playing on Family Weekend for the fifth time since 2014. The Bearcats are 3-1-0 in their previous matches averaged 1,889 fans per game. Most recently, Binghamton beat then No. 23 New Hampshire 2-1 before a facility-record 3,265 fans on Sept. 29, 2018. Luescher had a goal and an assist in that victory.
- Also on Saturday, the Bearcats will be wearing gold shoelaces to promote the Go 4 The Goal Initiative. Since being established in 2006, Go 4 The Goal has made its mission to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research, and granting personal wishes.
- The last time Binghamton started a season 6-2-0 was in 2007. The Bearcats won their first five matches that season – all by 1-0 margins.
