STORY LINES
- Binghamton (2-6-4, 0-1-2 AE) is coming off of a 0-0 tie at home against Albany last Saturday before 1,181 fans on Homecoming Weekend. Senior goalkeeper
Mats Roorda, who has been named the America East Defensive Player of the Week the past two weeks, finished off his perfect outing with six saves in the shutout.
- The Bearcats are unbeaten in their past four matches, having gone 2-0-2 during that stretch. Their goals against average during this run has been 0.50 per game.
- In the current America East statistics, Roorda is third with a .769 save percentage and fourth with a 1.03 goals against average (GAA). He is on pace to record Binghamton's lowest GAA since Chris Shutler in 2017 (1.01 GAA).
- UMass Lowell (2-7-3, 0-2-1 AE) lost 3-0 loss to Yale this past Tuesday. Goalkeeper Jacob Heihsel recorded six saves in the match.
- The River Hawks' conference tie was a scoreless draw against NJIT back on Sept. 24. One week later, Binghamton also battled the Highlanders to a 0-0 deadlock.
- UMass Lowell leads the all-time series against Binghamton 5-2-1. Most recently, however,
