The Binghamton men's lacrosse team will return to action on Tuesday at 5 p.m. when the travel to take on the Princeton Tigers. The Bearcats are coming off an extended 10 day break since playing Marist on Feb. 12 with Saturday's game against St. Bonaventure getting canceled due to icy field conditions.

Notes

• The game against Marist featured goals from seniors Kevin Winkoff (three goals), Justin Roderka (two goals), Daniel MacKinney (one goal), redshirt sophomore Thomas Greenblatt (one goal), sophomore Ethan Insinga (one goal), and freshman Matthew Keegan (one goal)

• The Bearcats were strong at the faceoff position with junior Matthew DeSouza going 10 of 15 on faceoffs while sophomore Ross Chazanow finished 4 of 7, providing a spark off of the bench

• DeSouza also added a team high six ground balls, freshman Lorenzo Ramos and senior Drew Furlong both caused two turnovers 

Scouting the Tigers

• Princeton (1-0) defeated Monmouth 22-6 on Saturday

• Junior attackers Alex Slusher and Christian Ronda led the way for the Tigers with five goals and one assist each

• Senior attacker Chris Brown also added three goals and four assists

• Tyler Sandoval won 16 of 27 faceoffs for the Tigers.

• Princeton is ranked nationally (No. 20 by Inside Lacrosse)

Series History

• Princeton leads the all-time series 1-0, having won 10-2 during the 2006 season
