Men's lacrosse hits the road to face Princeton

Bearcats begin a four game road stretch against Tigers

The Binghamton men's lacrosse team will return to action on Tuesday at 5 p.m. when the travel to take on the Princeton Tigers. The Bearcats are coming off an extended 10 day break since playing Marist on Feb. 12 with Saturday's game against St. Bonaventure getting canceled due to icy field conditions.

Notes

Scouting the Tigers

  • Princeton (1-0) defeated Monmouth 22-6 on Saturday

  • Junior attackers Alex Slusher and Christian Ronda led the way for the Tigers with five goals and one assist each

  • Senior attacker Chris Brown also added three goals and four assists

  • Tyler Sandoval won 16 of 27 faceoffs for the Tigers.

  • Princeton is ranked nationally (No. 20 by Inside Lacrosse)

Series History

  • Princeton leads the all-time series 1-0, having won 10-2 during the 2006 season

  • Binghamton will continue a four game road stretch when they travel to Easton, Pa. to take on Lafayette on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m.
