Men's Lacrosse Travels to Hofstra

Bearcats end four game road trip in Hempstead

Binghamton men's lacrosse (1-3) is on the road Tuesday, at 6 p.m. to take on Hofstra (3-3). This will be the final game of a four-game road stretch for the Bearcats. 

Notes 

  • Senior Kevin Winkoff has found the back of the net in every game this season. He leads the Bearcats with 11 goals
     

  • Junior Matthew DeSouza grabbed a team-high seven groundballs against Bucknell, finishing 10-of-21 from the faceoff position.
     

  • Senior Drew Furlong led the defensive effort for the Bearcats against Bucknell with three caused turnovers bringing his season total to six in four games played
     

  • Redshirt junior goalie Teddy Dolan finished with 18 saves against Bucknell, and currently ranks fifth in the nation in saves per game (15.25)


Scouting the Pride

  • Hofstra was defeated by Villanova in their previous game, 8-6.
     

  • Junior goalie Mac Gates tailed a career high 17 saves in the Pride's losing effort versus Villanova.
     

  • Finished last season 8-6, losing to Drexel in the CAA Championship
     

  • Picked to finish fifth in the CAA this season


Series History  

  • Hofstra leads the all-time series 3-0, the teams last met in 2005
