Men's lacrosse to host UMass Lowell for Senior Day

Bearcats honor 11 seniors, action begins at 7 p.m. Saturday

Binghamton men's lacrosse (5-7, 3-2 AE) is home for its final game of the regular season on Saturday at 7 p.m. to take on UMass Lowell (1-11, 1-4 AE). The Bearcats are looking to bounce back after a road loss at Vermont by a score 17-10 on April 23. 

Notes

  • Senior Kevin Winkoff continues to lead the Bearcats offense, netted five goals against Vermont, last Saturday and currently leads the America East in goals per game (2.75) and points per game (4.17).

  • Redshirt junior goalie Teddy Dolan recorded 16 saves along with three ground balls against Vermont. Dolan has five games with 16 or more saves this season.

  • Redshirt sophomore Thomas Greenblatt added five assists against Vermont and currently ranks third in the conference with 1.50 assists per game.

Scouting UMass Lowell

  • The River Hawks offense is led by Connor Foley, who is currently fourth in the America East in goals per game (2.25) and seventh in points per game (3.08).

  • Domenic Giachello leads the team with 12 assists. He had two goals and an assist against Holy Cross last Saturday.

  • Liam McDonough leads the team as the faceoff specialist with a faceoff percentage of .515.

Series History

  • In six all-time matchups between Binghamton and UMass Lowell, the Bearcats lead the all-time series 5-1, winning the last matchup 11-9 last season.

  • The Bearcats will be playing at Burlington Vt., in the America East semifinals on Thursday May. 5 against UMBC or UAlbany.
