STORY LINES
- Binghamton (0-4-0) is coming off a 2-0 loss at St. Bonaventure on Monday night. The Bonnies netted both of their goals in the final 24 minutes of play.
- Niagara (1-3-0) is coming off its first win of the season, which came against Stonehill on Monday. Alberto Sanchez Cervera scored twice in the 3-2 victory. He is tied with Rodrigo Almeida for the team lead with two goals so far this season.
- Binghamton is 6-2-0 all-time against Niagara. The Purple Eagles, however, won the most recent meeting, 2-1 at home on Sept. 3, 2021. Friday's match marks the first time the two teams have met at the Bearcats Sports Complex since Binghamton won 4-0 back on Sept. 27, 2009.
- Friday night's match against Niagara represents the first of three straight home contests for the Bearcats. An engaged crowd of 756 was at last week's opener against Colgate.
