Men’s Soccer Hosts Cornell in 1,000th Game in Program History

Bearcats and Big Red Square Off Tuesday at 6:07 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton's match against Cornell marks the 1,000th game in program history. Since 1960, the team has compiled a 496-391-112 record (.552 winning percentage).

- Binghamton (3-7-2, 1-1-2 AE) lost 5-0 to No. 22 Vermont Saturday evening. The match marked the Bearcats' annual Homecoming Game.

- Graduate student midfielder Jack Green continues to lead the Bearcats with nine total points this season from three goals and three assists. Redshirt senior Anthony Lazaridis has five total points this season with two goals and an assist.

- Cornell (6-3-2, 1-1-2 Ivy League) is coming off a 5-1 win against Princeton on Saturday. The Big Red's  previous matches in the Ivy League include a 1-0 loss against UPenn and two 1-1 ties - against both Harvard and Brown.

- Alex Harris leads the Big Red with 24 total points with 11 goals and two assists. He also leads the Ivy League in goals (1.00 GPG) and points (2.18 PPG)..

- Cornell leads the all-time series 9-4-1, having won the past four meetings. Most recently, the Big Red defeated Binghamton 3-1 at home on Oct. 18, 2022. The Bearcats' last win in the series was a 1-0 road triumph on Sept. 15, 2015.
