Men’s Soccer Travels to UMass Lowell

Bearcats and River Hawks square off Saturday at 3 p.m.

STORY LINES

- Binghamton (3-8-2, 1-1-2 AE) was edged by Cornell 2-1 on Tuesday evening. The Bearcats' goal was scored by redshirt freshman Cailen Thomas off a corner kick by graduate student Jack Green

- Green leads the team with ten total points this season with three goals and four assists. Redshirt senior Anthony Lazaridis has five total points this season with two goals and an assist.

- UMass Lowell (2-8-3, 0-4-0 AE) tied Massachusetts 1-1 on Tuesday. Guillermo Francés Poquet and Daniele Mastroianni lead the River Hawks with eight total points each, both from four goals. Tied for third on the team, Oliver Holmstrom and Michael Oliveri Jr. each have three goals and an assist for seven total points.

- UMass Lowell leads the all-time series against Binghamton 5-3-1 but the Bearcats have taken the past two meetings. On Senior Day last season, Binghamton defeated UMass Lowell 4-1 on Oct. 15. The season prior, the Bearcats won 1-0 at Lowell on Oct. 2.
