Men’s Soccer Hosts No. 25 Bryant on Senior Day

STORY LINES

- Binghamton hosts its annual Senior Day Game with Jack Green, Markos Touroukis, Anthony Lazarisis, Devin Heanue and Michael Bush forming this year's graduating class. In 17 previous Senior Day matches at the Bearcats Sports Complex, Binghamton has gone 9-4-4. The Bearcats defeated UMass Lowell 4-1 in last year's Senior Day Game.

- With two games left in the regular season, Binghamton and Bryant are tied for fourth place in the America East with eight points in the standings. They are just two points behind first-place UMBC while Vermont and UNH are tied for second with nine points. NJIT sits in sixth place with seven points. 

- Binghamton (4-8-2, 2-1-2 AE) defeated UMass Lowell 2-1 on the road last Saturday afternoon. Senior back Will Noecker and redshirt freshman back Cailen Thomas - the current America East Rookie Player of the Week - each scored within a three-minute span. Noecker's goal was assisted by Heanue.

- Green leads the Bearcats with 10 total points this season with three goals and four assists. He ranks seventh in the America East with 0.29 assists per game. Anthony Lazaridis has five total points this season with two goals and an assist while Thomas has scored twice.

- Bryant (12-1-2, 2-1-2 AE) is coming off a 3-1 win against UAlbany on Saturday. The Bulldogs only defeat this season was against Vermont, when the Catamounts emerged victorious 1-0. 

- Marc Pitarch Bayot leads Bryant with 16 total points this season with seven goals and two assists. He is tied for third in the America East with .500 goals per game. Pitarch Bayot is ranked fourth in the conference with 1.14 points per game. Inigo Villaldea, who has 15 total points (five goals and five assists), is ranked fifth with 1.00 points per game.

- In goal, Antreas Hadjigavriel leads the nation with a 0.267 GAA. He has only allowed four goals this season. His save percentage of .871 ranks third in the nation. 

- Friday's match will mark only the second meeting between Binghamton and Bryant. Last season, the Bearcats defeated the Bulldogs 3-1 on Oct. 28. 

- Bryant is the fifth nationally-ranked team that the Bearcats face this season. Binghamton met then top-ranked Syracuse on Aug. 28, No. 19 New Hampshire (Sept. 23), No. 18 Hofstra (Sept. 26) and No. 22 Vermont (Oct. 14).

- Binghamton's last win over a nationally-ranked opponent was a 2-1 victory over No. 23 New Hampshire on Family Weekend at the Bearcats Sports Complex on Sept. 29, 2018.
