Volleyball Concludes Regular Season at UNH

Binghamton takes third seed in America East tournament

DURHAM, N.H. (BUBearcats.com) - The Binghamton University volleyball team (14-12, 6-4) concluded the regular season with a 3-0 (22-25, 20-25, 19-25) America East loss at New Hampshire Sunday afternoon inside Lundholm Gymnasium. 

Ella Schabort and Tsvetelina Ilieva led the Bearcats with 12 kills and two blocks apiece. The double-digit performance was Ilieva's twenty-third and Schabort's fifteenth of the fall. Lydia Adam added four kills while Anna Sprys and Misa Dlouha chipped in three each. 

Lottie Scully registered a team-best 29 assists and nine digs at setter with two kills. Dlouha posted a squad-high six blocks for the Bearcats as well. 

The loss gives BU the No. 3 seed in the upcoming America East Championship. Binghamton will take on No. 2 seed New Hampshire in the semifinal round Friday, Nov. 17, 8 p.m at tournament hosts UMBC.
