Women’s Lacrosse Announces 2023-24 Team Captains

Murphy, Muscolino, Salgado, Scheidel named Bearcat captains

VESTAL, N.Y. (BUBearcats.com) - The Binghamton University women's lacrosse team selected its captains for the 2023-24 season, announced Head Coach Stephanie Allen Wednesday afternoon.

"We are very excited to announce the selection of these four student-athletes as our captains," Allen said. "They have earned the trust and respect of their teammates and coaches and we are very fortunate to have them leading our team into the 2024 season."  

"This honor is a testament to their hard work, competitive mindset, and commitment to the program throughout their career thus far.  We look forward to this group of leaders bringing out the best in their Bearcat teammates this year," she added. 

Seniors Madison Murphy, Sofia Salgado and Kristen Scheidel along with junior Olivia Muscolino were elected by their teammates to lead the team into the 2024 season. 

Binghamton will begin its championship season this February. Spring schedule details will be available at a later date.
