Women’s Lacrosse Named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad

Seven Bearcats named to Division I Academic Honor Roll

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Women's Lacrosse earned its fifth consecutive Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad selection, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon. Seven Bearcats also recorded Academic Honor Roll distinctions. 

The IWLCA named 383 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as Academic Honor Squads. With a 3.55 grade point average during the 2024-25 academic year, the women's lacrosse team exceeded the minimum 3.2 or higher team GPA to qualify for the award. 

Seven Bearcats registered a 3.50 GPA or better to record 2024-25 Academic Honor Roll selections. Gretel Cassell, Gaby Castillo, Christiana Mastrorocco, Olivia Muscolino, Jess Robinson, Sofia Salgado and Emily Stam represented Binghamton among the 1,163 Division I student-athletes who took home academic honors.
