Bearcats face nationally ranked Orange at JMA Wireless Dome

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's lacrosse travels to Syracuse on Monday for a showdown with one of the best teams in the nation on Monday afternoon. The Bearcats will look to beat their second consecutive ACC opponent after last Thursday's 11-5 win over Pittsburgh.

Notes

  • The Bearcats powered past Pittsburgh by scoring six unanswered goals in the second half to beat the Panthers 11-5 last Thursday.
  • Madison Murphy scored three goals and added one assist. Abigail Carroll, Kristen Scheidel, and Isabella Meli each scored two goals in the win on Thursday. Carroll also won five draw controls and scooped up four ground balls against Pittsburgh.

  • Emily Manning made 10 saves against Pittsburgh with saving two-thirds of the shots that came her way. Manning has a save percentage of .522 on the season.

Scouting Syracuse

  • Syracuse defeated Northwestern and Maryland to begin their season. Both teams are currently ranked in the nation's top five.

  • Meaghan Tyrrell and Megan Carney each have eight goals to lead the team. Tyrrell also has a team-high 11 assists.

  • Syracuse has caused 16 turnovers in two games. Delaney Sweitzer has made 24 saves in two games with a save percentage of .480.
