Track & field throwers compete at CNY College Challenge

Ormsby and Thomas record runner-up finishes, Hoose third in women’s discus

CORTLAND, N.Y. – Binghamton's throwers took part in the Central New York (CNY) Track & Field College Challenge on Tuesday afternoon. There was no team scoring at the meet.

On the men's side, sophomore Jaston Ormsby was second overall in the hammer (186-7) while senior Spencer Thomas was second in the discus (158-8).

Junior Gianna Hoose was the top Binghamton women's performer at the meet. She was third in the discus (133-3) and fourth in the hammer (166-11).

Up next for Binghamton is Penn Relays this coming Friday-Saturday.
