VESTAL, N.Y. --- Binghamton's graduating student-athletes were back in the Events Center one final time this weekend. Instead of wearing their competition uniforms, however, they were dressed in their cap and gowns to take part in the university's graduation weekend.

Over a hundred Binghamton student-athletes received either their bachelor's degree or their master's degree during the weekend. In addition, women's tennis player Lara Kaplan delivered the student speech at the School of Management (SOM) ceremony on Sunday afternoon.

For a handful of graduates on the baseball and track & field teams, however, their attention now turns back to their sport. The baseball team wraps up their regular season at UMass Lowell this coming weekend and then hosts the America East Tournament next Wednesday-Saturday. The track & field team, meanwhile, will send individuals to the NCAA East Region Meet at North Florida next Thursday-Saturday.
